Idaho House Announcement

I'm Ben Fuhriman, a lifelong Republican, and I'm running for a seat in the Idaho House of Representatives. As a 4th generation Idahoan my local roots run deep. I know what it means to be a true Idaho Conservative, and I know when traditional Idaho values are under attack by both sides of the political spectrum.

We have a lot of challenges in our area—water, safety and security from a broken border policy, the education of our children, taxes, growth and our economy. We don’t need to be wasting time on issues that are emotionally charged and only serve to get politicians re-elected out of fear. We should be working together to solve the problems that matter today.

I will be a sound, solid traditional Idaho Conservative that will bring experience, creativity, and out-of-the-box thinking to Boise. I'll fight every day to protect our right to think and act for ourselves. Freedom is more than just a country with an inspired constitution, freedom is also the agency to act for yourself and make your own decisions. It's the right to protect and support your families without the government telling you how to do it.

I’m optimistic about the future of Idaho. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work solving problems that truly matter to the families of Bingham and Butte Counties. Let’s make sure Idaho stays the conservative beacon our ancestors envisioned, and our kids deserve.
